I am Kari, an artist of weaving and of the soul. For years, my world has been intertwined with yarns, colors, and characters born from my hands. I weave stories, emotions, and moments that often need no words. I started sharing what I knew, and discovered that in doing so, something within me also healed. My Kute Dolls and my courses are part of that creative journey, which surprises and transforms me every day. I don't follow trends, I follow intuitions. I believe in simplicity, in handmade things, in what is felt. Everything you see is woven with intention... and with love.
I intertwine threads, words, and colors
Autotelic is a word that found me like a tangled skein: unexpected and perfect. It means doing something for the sheer pleasure of doing it, expecting nothing in return. This is how I live art, weaving, life. When I create, I am at home. I lose the sense of time, I immerse myself in that state where everything flows, as described by Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi. And that is what I seek to share: that joy, that connection, that 'being in the moment.' I hope each stitch that brings you closer to me also brings you a little closer to yourself.
